CASE-ing the Catty #27 - A CAS Hello

In our Blog Hop this week the team at CASE-ing the Catty are CASE-ing a project from the Memory Keeping section of the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalogue.

Hop around all the blogs & you will see loads of fabulous ideas to inspire you.  You may have come direct from the CTC blog & if you click on the image at the bottom of the post, you will go straight to Rachel Palmieri's post.  If you get lost along the way, there is a complete list of participating blogs on the CTC post.  You can even add your own link in the comments & we will add you to the list.  We would love to see your Memory Keeping section CASE.  :)

This week I have used the photo pocket layout on page 48 to create my clean & simple "Hello" card.  Rather than place an image behind the sentiment, I thought I would add the design to a vellum window to achieve a soft, opaque look.  I have layered up two die-cut sentiments to help the "hello"  pop off the vellum. An embossed border gives the shimmery white cardstock frame a polished look whilst keeping the design very CAS:-

Here's my inspiration from the So You Project Kit:-

This is such a perfect CAS card, the vellum is a beautiful touch, as are the rhinestones.
