The Paper Players #197 - Starburst & Chevrons

This week the lovely Ladies at The Paper Players have an awesome challenge which inspired this card:-

Here is LeAnne's sketch, which I have rotated 90 degrees:-

I created the centre panel by die-cutting several chevron shapes in my DSP like this (using a middle sized framelit from the Banner set):-

I overlapped each chevron to make a strip, then layered the entire strip onto gold foil paper & then onto white to get a fine border.  The tag has been all over stamped with the thanks sentiment from Petite Pairs, using Cabana & Gold Encore ink to echo the arrow shape of the chevrons.  The tag is finished off with a gold brad through a gold sequin.

I followed the chevron theme through to the inside, using the border punch to expose the gold layer underneath the white:-

I love how crisp the gold, white & cabana colour combo is!  :)
