Inkspirations Challenge #75 - Gatefold & Glitter Cupcakes

Hi All, it's Friday again, so time to play at Inkspirations.  :)

This week Keesh has a nice easy sketch for you to work with:-

This is a great sketch & has so many possibilities.  I have made a gatefold card:-

& here it is open:-

I had a lovely time making the glittery frosting for the cupcakes using the Sizzix adhesive sheets.  Here's how:-

Cut a piece of adhesive sheet larger than the size of the frosting, peel the liner (with the writing on it) off & stick adhesive sheet to a piece of cardstock:-

Punch out the frosting:-

Peel off the plain liner & drop cardstock piece into Dazzling Diamonds glitter & you will end up with this:-

Here it is, added to a stamped patty pan:-

Hope this inspires you to go & get glittery!!!  :)

This is a gorgeous card, Helen - I love that glittery cupcake! Thanks for the 'visual' on how to use Big Shot adhesive sheets; I've just got some, but felt a bit intimidated and didn't know where to start! Christine xx

Had I played this challenge, I probably would have stuck two little flowers on top of the circle just like the sketch shows...I love your creativity with that glittery cupcake sticking out!

I love your sweet sparkly cupcakes! Great idea with the adhesive sheets, too. I did that with letters not so long ago and had one of those "why didn't I think of that before" moment. Would have saved myself so much trouble if I had...
