Sparkly Mermaid

This week I have been short on crafting time, so I decided to combine Makeesha's Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #22 & the Just Add Ink Colour Challenge #16.  You can join Makeesha's Challenge here (Renee is hosting this week) & you can join the JAI Challenge here.

Here are the challenges:-

I have mirrored the sketch & used a beautiful new digital image by Michelle Perkett called "Harmony Mermaid".

Here is my card:-

Yay!  Finally I have managed to get the "sparkle" to show up in my photo!!!  :)

"Harmony Mermaid" was printed by laser on watercolour paper & coloured with stamp pad inks & an aquapainter.  She has been fussy cut, "blinged", lip glossed & raised on dimensionals.

When I first saw this mermaid, I envisioned her sitting on her rock with a sunset sky behind her, so here she is.  This is my very first attempt at brayering, but now the cardstock piece is so small, you can't really see all the graduations in colour I managed to achieve!  lol.

Sorry, but I had to add a smidge of Baja Breeze for the water - it just didn't look right in any of the challenge colours!  It has been clear embossed to make it shiny.
