CASE-ing the Catty #58 - 3D Poinsettia Pillowbox

Welcome to the CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop where this week the Crew are CASE-ing 3D items from the Holiday Catalogue.  Sprinkled right throughout the catty you will find inspirational ideas for home decor & gift packaging.

I have CASED the pretty pillowbox on page 31.  I have made a few minor edits to the original by using a brick embossed cardstock for the box, adding a gold centre to the poinsettia, & tweaking the tag & banner slightly:-

The pillow box is just the right size for a yummy treat!  :)

I was also inspired by the ribbon & cord trim on the pillow box on page 41 & used the same trims on a baker's box tealight holder.

I just love both these thinlits & especially like what you have created with them today. The brick wall embossing on the pillow box looks great & how luxurious is that vanilla ribbon! I can just see this little box flickering in the night - so pretty.

Using the Brick Wall folder is a great idea on the box to give that extra interest!! Beautiful projects!!

The tea light candle box is so cute and I love the poinsettia, I made these in different shades of colours for gifts and they are so popular with the pillow box as it's a great size for goodies (especially chocolates).
