First of all, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who left lovely comments on my poppy card. I hope to have a tute up for you during the week.
Now, down to business, this week Keesh has an awesome sketch for everyone to play with:-
I have mirrored & rotated the sketch to come up with this:-
I took inspiration from the lovely & very talented Christine Blain to spritz my seam binding with alcohol & scrunch it up to get a lovely vintage look.
How embarrassing, there's another flower on there, lol! I'll add details of this little sunflower to the poppy tute - so check back soon. :)

Great flower! Love how you flipped the sketch too. Gorgeous take on this week's sketch.
A drop dead gorgeous creation Helen. Love that flip of the sketch, the scrunched binding, not to mention that wonderful Sunflower. Bring on the tutes!
You are a convert! Looks fab & I'm not usually into sunflowers, but I love the texture.
Another rockin' card! You have such an eye for color! Thanks for sharing your talents.
You're, like...a flower guru or something. LOVE the sunflower! Bravo, girlie!

Oh, this is SO sweet, Helen! Thanks for the mention (makes me feel rather clever, even though I borrowed the idea from others, hee hee). I love that you have used patterned paper AND a gorgeous hand-made flower on this card, my friend! The colour combo is gorgeous, as is the texture on the flower centre. You're just too clever!
