More Homemade Holiday Framelit dies (as something other than a house)!

Time is nearly running out for this week's CASE-ing the Catty Challenge, which is to use the Baby section of the Stampin' Up! annual catty (pages 72-81) as inspiration for a project.  I discovered I didn't have a thank you card when I needed it, so here is what I came up with to start replenishing my supply:-

I love the border from the cover of the mini baby album at the bottom of page 77, so have used that as the starting point for my card.  Once I had decided on which colours to use, the border was very quick to stamp using these tools:-

Stamping with pencil erasers is a great tip that the lovely Nikki Spencer shared with me.  :)

The sentiment (from the Hip Hip Hooray card kit) is stamped in versamark & heat embossed with pool party embossing powder.  The dainty little tag has been cut from one of the house framelit dies from the new Homemade Holiday set.  Isn't it sweet?  (You can see what else I used a house die for here, in this post.)  A little thick crisp cantaloupe baker's twine & some dimensionals to lift the tag off the card base finish off this little notecard.
