Here is my very blue entry:-
I have created a bag front & card for my sister, who is about to travel overseas on a "quilting" tour. The inspiration for the bag front came from this clever card by Lynda. I have resized the pattern, using a 2.1/2" central square & then panelling with 3/4" wide DSP & stamped strips.
The bag is the perfect size for a nice new novel, to fill in some time on the plane trip! The bookmark attaches to the front of the card, being tucked under the scalloped oval (which is raised up on dimensionals) & clipped with a cute mini library clip, like this:-
The image on the bookmark has been stamped with both Versamark & Not Quite Navy ink & then clear embossed to give a raised, shiny finish. The card is based on one of Makeesha's sketches (here is a link to the sketch).
